Please look at this game as an extremely well-done visual novel, choices change dialogue, but do not matter to the whole story. (Btw, the story progresses at a nice pace, the game completion in around 10 hours.

While a vanilla Batman may not be to your taste, the twists and turns in the storyline are deeply profound and worth your attention.(.what is a vigilante?.what is madness?.what is good and evil?). There is so much more to say, but I think I will best leave you to experience this game for yourself. For this alone I was completely immersed in the game from the very start ( omg it's actually Batman!). A hero all but forgotten in modern movies ( Batman vs Superman 2016.Batman kills people wtf? ) ( a gothic skinny emo in The Batman 2022) (or Bruce Wayne being a well dressed incarnation of the Joker in The Dark Knight Trilogy ).its so, so refreshing to see Telltale games absolutely nail the true character of Batman. 'Batman- The Telltale Series' reintroduces the player to the original vanilla version of Batman, the costumed crime fighting detective with utility belt filled with tools for every emergency.

Well done, this is an absolute masterpiece. Once again Telltale shows that they are at the apex spearhead of great story telling. It's worth picking up the bundle too since it comes with season 1 and 2 and some extras. If you've enjoyed previous Telltale games then I think you'll like this one. I'm going to play season 2 (The Enemy Within) next. It still pulled the data from their servers to let me know which decisions other people chose compared to mine so I don't think an account is required.

I did not create a Telltale account and just played locally. I did not run into any bugs and played in classic mode instead of shadows mode as I prefer the colour over black & white for these games. The story was fairly decent and enjoyable and the voice acting was well done. I never read the Batman comic books but I've watched the movies and the animated series so I kind of know some of the characters in that universe. I bought the bundle for this game on sale and just completed season 1. WarnerBrosCanada.I'll preface this review by saying in the past month I've played The Wolf Among Us, Telltale Walking Dead, and Tales from the Borderlands for the first time and really enjoyed all of them.
